Thomas Warburton Born 1787 Died 8th April, 1861/4 Buried at Astbury Mary Warburton née Lea Born 1800 Died 8th November, 1869 Buried at Astbury daughter of Joseph and Esther Lea of Withington, near Congleton [his wife; and their children were:] Edward Died 27th June, 1860 Thomas Born February 8th, 1823 Died Saffron Walden age 73 1st November, 1896 Thomas Warburton married three times: 1 Ellen Shaw, Astbury, issue Sarah, married to George Frederick Gent 2 Elizabeth Snelson of Congleton, no issue survived 3 Lydia Longden of Ashdon, Essex, issue two sons Frederick and Osbert, daughter Priscilla [this Priscilla was housemaid to Frank Turner Gent, my grandfather remembered her bad-tempered and unhappy] Esther Born 21st May, 1826 at Kermincham Died 9.30pm, 13th February, 1900 age 73 at 15, Greenhill Street, Manchester [my great grandmother, she married Dr Henry Gent] Joseph Lea Warburton Born August 7th, 1841 Died Liverpool age 53 October, 1894 Married Mary Newhall, Knutsford Son Edmund Warburton, born 1886 Mary Ann Born 31st March, 1830 Married Joseph Williams at Manchester about 1863 surviving issue Joseph Henry and Mary Sarah Joseph Henry married Lydia Ridgwell of Ridgwell, Essex Mary Sarah married William Dinnage of Dorking August 21st, 1900. Both no issue. My mother's father's cousin was Dr Warburton of Betley who lived in good style there and brought up Þve sons as doctors. One, Edmund, was godfather to my cousin in Liverpool. One settled at Pontypridd, Wales.
